New Guidelines

August 30th:

New guidelines... for myself! So, I haven't been sleeping very well, and I think the primary reason is that I'm on the computer up until the last moment I go to sleep (which is usually VERY late at night).

Some of that is because I like to blog right before I go to sleep, but mostly the reason is I'm watching record amounts of Glee and Smallville and thus am practically tied to the screen at all times. So, to make my screen-time/laziness to a lower level, my mom and I have set up some "guidelines".

1. We won't watch more than two episodes of Smallville a day. Yes, this is a real rule. We could EASILY watch 6+ episodes in one sitting, and I feel like it's taking up all my time and keeping me up late.

2. We won't watch Smallville past 9pm. This way, we're unhooked from the TV (our desktop computer, because we don't have a real TV), a good while before we ACTUALLY want to go to bed.

My own rule is that I won't watch any Glee in bed. Because I do that a lot. Glee. Before I sleep.

SO! I watched The Dark Knight Rises for the first time today. I had kinda been putting it off because I was worried it would be scary (like The Dark Knight, omg), but to my relief it wasn't scary at all. Yay! I wish I had seen it in theatres. Oh well.

What are your personal "guidelines" about TV watching? Any house rules? Habits? :)

Keep it classy!

  1. Only a max of 1 hour of anime shows per day... before my brain starts feeling numb. ><"
