Today I had the pleasure of accompanying two of my friends, P and M, on a couple photo shoot as a photographer along with another camera-friendly buddy H. I was unsure of how my work would turn out, as I have never actually taken portraits as part of a semi-legit gig, but I can say that overall I am very happy with my photos! I took exactly 800 pictures on the 3 hour trip up to Mount Hermon. Three outfit changes and a whole bunch of posing later, I'm danged tired. I narrowed down the number of photos to 101 and edited those to my heart's content when I got home :) I have to get the O.K. from the subjects before I can post any of the pictures, but I hope to get that soon so that I can show all y'all at least a couple of my favorites. They are SUCH a cute couple!
Today got me thinking - I could TOTALLY earn a bit of pocket money (and experience) if I offered up my photographer services to my friends and acquaintances for a low price. I don't think I'd want to make a business out of it or anything, or be super official, but I think it'd be a fun way to fill up some of my spare time until I go to college late September. :)
