Reading used to be my favorite pass-time, my number one hobby. That was until about junior year when I began to devote my dedicated reading hour (between 9-10 every school night) to things other than reading, such as texting, facebook, watching tv shows, ect. Although I did enjoy those activities, I slowly found that more and more I missed sitting and reading for an hour. Despite my missing it, I always seemed to have too many things to do instead of reading, so that didn't change. Luckily, I've been choosing to read more now that it's summer and I don't have anything else demanding my attention.
I'm kinda on a Sarah Dessen roll right now. I read "Lock and Key" and am now in the middle of "Along for the Ride". I wouldn't have pegged myself for reading such real life/girly books (as my regular genre is more... fantasy/adventure), but I'm really really enjoying them. Maybe reading about other people's drama is more bearable because right now I don't have any in my personal life... Haha!
I think I'll stay up as late as I can tonight reading. Maybe I'll finish the last 270 pages tonight... Or not, that's kinda a lot. Well, I can try!
