BAADAL

July 11th:

So, my dad works at Google as a... I don't even know. Something engineery. Well, that's not the point. As a Google employee, or "Googler" as they call themselves, one of many privileges they enjoy is free food from any one of countless "cafes". All of these cafes are manned by professional, critically acclaimed chefs and occasionally they have famous chefs come to cook for Googlers, such as Bobby Flay. I think that's pretty cool. They are also allowed to bring their friends and families to join them for meals, which is really nice and a cool way to see my dad in the middle of the work day!

Today my mother and I went to eat lunch with my dad at one of the newer cafes: BAADAL, a very nice Indian "restaurant". See, I use the word restaurant because BAADAL, unlike the other cafes who are buffet-sytle, is sit-down and the cafe staff actually bring you your food to the table. For free. It's run like a restaurant, but is free to employees (and their guests)! I thought that was very cool! It actually looked like a pretty high class joint too: mood lighting, fancy interior design, nice table-wear. All very classy! I was impressed.

So that's where I had lunch today! I also hosted a little arts and crafts day with some girlfriends and we had fun creating masterpieces together! :D I love my girls.

I hope you as good of a day as I did! Keep it classy!
