September 10th:
Tonight I watched Grease for the very first time! I loved the movie, but I disliked the actors' singing voices. Haha! I think I actually enjoyed the Glee version of the movie more... *prepares to be murdered by all the Grease lovers*
I enjoyed today. Unlike most of the past week, I didn't feel like I wasted the day; although... I really didn't do anything worth writing home about. Haha~ I went to lunch with my mom, mailed some packages, and picked up some delicious pumpkin treats from my friend A :) I love free baked goods.
On another note: Are you at all acquainted with your neighbors? My family knows pretty much all of our street's residents, and that's just something I'm used to. I've talked to a few friends about their neighbors and most can't even name their next door neighbors! The idea of not knowing my neighbors is so foreign to me! Our entire neighborhood has an email network where people send emails to the whole neighborhood with requests, questions, notices, ect. It's not an uncommon thing in my house to hear me say "Hey mom, can you ask the neighborhood if anyone has Grease/a hoop skirt/50's style clothes for spirit week?" Usually, the neighborhood provides! Just as we do for them when they have their requests~

I think it's really cool that you have that connection with your neighborhood! Unfortunately, that's not everyone. I don't know my neighbors like at all...other than my aunt... :P
