Solvang

September 13th:

Who has been to Solvang? I have! Twice! At least... Not sure if I went there as a pre-person... (before highschool). I love Solvang. It's so kitschy and small-town. Every shop is geared towards tourists and I ran into a large amount of (mostly Asian) tourists taking pictures next to shops or with Dutch architecture in the background.

Today my mother and I made the long drive down to Malibu to visit one of my friends in college :) I stayed the night in K's dorm room that night and met all of her suite mates. We watched The Notebook with her suite mates and a couple friends (one of the guys actually cried, I was so proud).

It was really hot in the room that we slept in. Malibu's September weather sucks. SO HOT.

I wish I had more to say about the 13th, but I didn't have internet access for write that night, so this is a day old... I have failed you. :'(
